PICK UP FROM YOUR HOTEL AT 8.30 AM

Our English guide / driver will pick you up from your hotel in Casablanca and we drive to Fes. We explore the old part of Fes city (Medinat Al Qadima) where we will visit either the Attarine Madrasa or the Bou Inania Madrasa, both excellent examples of Marinid architecture from the early 14th century. Furthermore, you will see the famous and enchanting Nejjarine fountain, oldest fountain of Fes, hidden within the maze of the winding alleys of the old city. Further highlights of the trip will certainly be the Moulay Idriss II Mausoleum and the outside of Karaouine Mosque. The latter has played a unique part in Islamic history, as its adjacent university became one of the leading spiritual and educational centres of the Muslim world. According to UNESCO it is indeed the oldest educational institution of the world. Then we return to Casablanca in the evening at 7pm.
