DAY 1: MARRAKECH - HIGH ATLAS - AIT BENHADDOU - OUARZAZATE - ROSE VALLEY:

One of the most common excursions from Marrakech is a journey into the Atlas Mountains, and our staff will pick you up at your riad or hotel and drive you there. We'll check out the ksar of Ait Benhaddou, one of Morocco's most spectacular traditional complexes of packed-earth buildings. We'll spend the day in Ouarzazate, seeing the Film Studio and Taourirt Kasbah, before heading to Rose Valley, home to the Moroccan Rose-Essence business and the Mgouna Tribe's administrative center. The original Arabic name for this place was Mgouna Citadel. We're going to make Dades our overnight stop so that we may take advantage of its restaurants for both dinner and breakfast.

DAY 2: ROSE VALLEY - BOUMALNE DADES - TODRA GORGES - MERZOUGA CAMEL TOUR:

Since Boumalne Dades is a little village that started off small, after breakfast we will journey there to spend the night beneath the sky and 1000 stars. The Todra Gorges are stunning at any time of day, but in the late afternoon, when sunshine and shadow create a spectrum of hues on the rock, is when we visit. A Gorge, or canyon, is where we'll stop for lunch, and it's a sight to behold. By the time we get there, which should be around 5 o'clock, we'll have had a camel ride, eaten supper, and be ready to call it a night in a Berber tent.

DAY 3 : CAMEL TREK - ZIZ VALLEY - ZIZ GORGES - IFRAN - FES:

Today will be an eventful day as we drive from Merzouga to Fes. We estimate driving around 400 kilometers. after completing breakfast and seeing the gorgeous dawn. We'll be traveling to the Ziz Valley from Erfoud through Midelt. For the first twenty kilometers, the road parallels the Oued Ziz, providing views of caves hewn out of the cliff face. We'll be walking along that beautiful trail. We visit the Barrage de Hassan Addakhil's beach, construction of which was not completed until 1971. It is from this dam that both Errachidia and the nearby oasis get their water. After the overlooks, the road drops precipitously into Tafilalet Valley, where we'll have lunch before going on to the cedar forest, where we'll hopefully come across some barbarian monkeys. When we get to Fes, it will be late in the afternoon.

DAY 4 : FES - CHEFCHAOUEN - TANGIER

As soon as we finish eating breakfast, we'll get going. We'll finish off our service and transfer you to Tangier after lunch. While on the road, we'll make a pit break at Chefchaouen so you may check out the city's famous blue medina at your own pace.
